Tournament seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga made the fourth round, following his straight-set ousting of fellow seed Fernando Verdasco. The Frenchman is joined in the round of 16 by Juan Monaco, who downed Tommy Haas.

Eleventh seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is through to the round of 16, having upended 19th seed Fernando Verdasco in straight sets. The 26-year-old Frenchman secured five of 8 break points, en route to a 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 victory in two hours and 6 minutes. Tsonga completed the third-round effort with a dozen aces and 33 winners.
He is slated to face 8th seed Mardy Fish for a spot in the quarterfinal. The American defeated Kevin Anderson in round three, 6-4, 7-6(4), 7-6(3).

Juan Monaco reached the fourth round after rallying to dismiss former World No. 2 Tommy Haas. The Argentine dropped the opening set, but fought back to break 6 times over the next three sets. Monaco ended the afternoon with 34 winners and 6 aces.
He will take on World No. 3 Roger Federer in the next round. The Swiss veteran took out 27th seed Marin Cilic in the third round, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
