Ferrero, Andujar through to Stuttgart final

Former World No. 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero advanced to the final match at the Mercedes Cup, after taking out qualifier Federico Del Bonis. He will face compatriot Pablo Andujar for the title on Sunday.

Juan Carlos Ferrero is through to his 34th career final, after rallying to defeat qualifier Federico Del Bonis on Saturday. The 31-year-old Spaniard saved nine of 11 break points through two hours and 5 minutes of play.
"The victory today was very important because I’m coming back from injury and winning four matches in a row, getting some rhythm and happiness and confidence," said Ferrero. "The key for me today was mentally staying positive all the time."

Pablo Andujar reached the championship final, following his three-set victory over wildcard Lukasz Kubot. The Spaniard secured five of 9 break chances, en route to a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win in two hours and 24 minutes. Kubot committed 9 double faults during the match.
"I think there were some points that could change the (result) for him to win," Andujar said. "He had some break points in the third set. I saved them and I broke him once again. I fought a lot and I'm really happy."
