Milos Raonic takes out Grigor Dimitrov in straight sets on Friday in Stockholm. Raonic is joined in the semifinals by Gael Monfils, who held off Kevin Anderson.

Raonic turned in a stellar performance and took care of Dimitrov in one hour and 18 minutes to reach the semifinals of the If Stockholm Open on Friday afternoon. The 20-year-old Canadian slammed 14 aces while double-faulting only once and he put in 72 percent of his first deliveries. Raonic won 85 percent of his first-serve points, dropped only 10 total points in 11 service games, and never faced a break point.
Dimitrov managed to stay even for much of the first set, but he cracked with a poor service game at 5-5. Raonic capitalized on the first break of the day for a 6-5 lead with a clean backhand winner. Dimitrov could not recover, donating serve at 1-1 in the second and from there it was all over for the 20-year-old Bulgarian. Raonic served it out the rest of the way with ease, setting up a clash against either top-seeded Gael Monfils.

Monfils battled through a tough first set then raced away from Anderson to prevail in one hour and 31 minutes in Friday's quarterfinal nightcap. The Frenchman gave back an early break in the first set but then regained control when he converted his second break point of the day--in as many chances--at 5-5. Monfils soon served out the opening frame of play without any trouble.
Anderson appeared to go away quietly in the second, donating serve twice in a row to fall behind 4-0 as Monfils improved to four four four on break points with a perfect lob at 3-0. Out of nowhere, though, Anderson stormed back and earned two breaks of his own for 5-5. At that point, however, Monfils woke up again, broke for 6-5, and this time made no mistake serving out the match. The world No. 10 is now set for his first career meeting with Raonic.
