Veteran Albert Montanes reached the Bet-At-Home Open championship, following his straight-set ousting of top seed Juan Ignacio Chela. The Spaniard is slated to face first-time Tour finalist Robin Haase for the title on Saturday.

World No. 50 Albert Montanes is through to the final after dismissing top seed Juan Ignacio Chela late Friday. The 30-year-old took the opening set, then led 3-1 in the second. Montanes surrendered a service break to trail 3-4, but regrouped to secure a 5-4 edge. Chela came back to 5-5, but dropped serve again in the 11th game. On his second attempt, the Spaniard closed the match in 92 minutes.
He finished the evening with six of 14 break points converted.
Robin Haase def. (Q) Joao Souza 6-1, 6-7(3), 6-4
World No. 53 Robin Haase advanced to his first ATP World Tour final, having held on to defeat qualifier Joao Souza in three sets. The 24-year-old Dutchman collected 14 aces and five service breaks, including a critical break in the deciding set. He completed the effort with 34 of 40 first-service points won through two hours and 10 minutes.
