  • Easy win for Haas

    Fourth seed Tommy Haas is through to his second semifinal of the If Stockholm Open after a comfortable win over fifth seed Juan Monaco.

    Haas sprinted away to take an early 5-0 lead. Monaco then woke up and took the three next games and then had 30-30 in the Germans serve at the score 5-3. Haas then took the two following points and won the set by 6-3.

    In the second set Haas took an early break in the third game. Former world number-two had no problems with holding his service games and only lost five points on his serve during the set. He finished the match off on his first match point at the score 5-3 and will now face Ivo Karlovic in the semifinal.
