Hamburg - Youzhny moves on, Chela falls to Kamke

Tournament seed Mikhail Youzhny reached the round of 16 by virtue of his straight-set success over Carlos Berlocq. Fellow seed Juan Ignacio Chela fell to hometown wildcard Tobias Kamke in straight sets Tuesday afternoon.

World No. 17 Mikhail Youzhny is through to the third round, following his 7-5, 7-6(7) win against Argentine Carlos Berlocq. The 29-year-old Russian tallied six aces and two service breaks, through to a straight-set victory in two hours and 19 minutes. Berlocq had trouble with his second serve, unable to win more than 38% of the points.
Youzhny will take on wildcard Julian Reister for a place in the quarterfinal. The German upset 14th seed Guillermo Garcia-Lopez in the second round, 7-6(5), 6-2.
(WC) Tobias Kamke def. (7) Juan Ignacio Chela 6-1, 6-4
Wildcard Tobias Kamke advanced to the round of 16, following his straight-set victory over 7th seed Juan Ignacio Chela. The German converted four of 12 break points, en route to a 6-1, 6-4 success in 91 minutes of play.
He is slated to face either 12th seed Marin Cilic or fellow German Bastian Knittel in the next round.
