It's Christmas time and that means two things: 1) presents, and 2) the imminent arrival of the next ATP Tour season. When you put those two things together, your result is the following list. Without further ado, let's take a look at what some of tennis' biggest stars should have under their trees on Christmas morning.
Rafael Nadal - A new ATP schedule. And as a stocking stuffer: new knees.
Roger Federer - Wimbledon.
Novak Djokovic - A cure for bird flu, SARS, and common cold.
Andy Roddick - A cure for bird flu, SARS, and common cold... So that Djokovic has three fewer excuses next time (if ever) Roddick beats him.
Gilles Simon - Leg muscles.
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - A full season with not one single health problem.
Mario Ancic - See Tsonga.
Tommy Haas - See Ancic.
Marcos Baghdatis - See Haas.
Lleyton Hewitt - See Baghdatis.
Rainer Schuettler - 10 years off of his life.
Nicolas Kiefer - See Schuettler.
Carlos Moya - See Kiefer.
Juan Martin Del Potro - Andy Murray's mom to be quiet.
Andy Murray - Juan Martin Del Potro to stop talking about his mom.
Robin Söderling - Indoor courts at every single ATP event.
Nicolas Almgaro - Clay courts at every single ATP event.
Marat Safin - Retirement. Retirement = more fun.
David Ferrer - Ritalin.
James Blake - Fernando Gonzalez's silver medal.
Fernando Gonzalez - Honesty.
Fernando Verdasco - Ana Ivanovic
Ana Ivanovic - Fernando Verdasco
Tomas Berdych - One win over one good player.
Ernests Gulbis - A brain.
Mikhail Youzhny - Stitches for this.
Well, there's the ATP Christmas list. If any needy player was left off, let's hear who it is and what he needs (in the comments section below). With the 2009 season less than two weeks away, it won't be long before we find out which players received a visit from Santa.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a happy 2009 ATP Tour season.

I'm sorry but this was really lame. "see tsonga" "see anna" "see kiefer" "see [insert]"? yawn. anybody can write that. next time try to be a bit more original and then maybe I'll crack a smile.
