A sweetheart pal of mine sent me a note this week. The subject line simply read "Gaudio." I hesitated before opening the email- if you know anything about the enigma that is Gastón Gaudio, the information contained within it could run the gamut from delicious all the way to disaster.
I took a deep breath, counted to ten and opened the email. To my surprise and delight, the message detailed happy news, 17 months in the making. Gaudio accepted a slot to play a challenger event in Iquique, Chile. The 2004 Roland Garros champion and former world number five was set to take part in his first ATP event since September 2007.
In tennis, there are players you like, others you cannot stand and some who are so expendable and forgettable, they disappear from memory the minute they stop playing. A handful of truly special players, however, stay with you.
For his devoted base of fans, Gaudio always hovered nearby, haunting the tennis world like a tortured specter. They waited for his next move- the dreaded announcement that he planned to retire, a promise to return- anything to satisfy their curiosity over the whereabouts of the last man to hoist the French Open trophy before Rafael Nadal placed it on permanent lock down.
Over the last year-and-a-half, Gaudio struggled with injury, lack of motivation and internal discord. His answers, when asked about his future plans in tennis, fluctuated wildly. Moody, complex and completely engaging, he continued to drive his supporters crazy as they were forced to play the waiting game.
For my purposes, I hate the waiting game. After a reasonable amount of time had passed, I let go of the need to predict Gaudio's intentions. Will he stay, will he retire? Will we ever see a repeat of the Gato/Mago drama? (For anyone unfamiliar with the reference- and if you are, shame on you- I'm talking about the legendary match-ups between Gaudio and bitter rival, Guillermo Coria..)
Two recent events pulled me right back into the fray. When Gaudio made an appearance at La Copa Argentina, a small glimmer of hope flickered. Once I read the comment he made during an interview with Olé Magazine, the flicker burst into flame:
Question (translated): What is your main motivation for returning?
Gaudio (translated): Well...(smiling), when you are a player, you have more sex.
I'm fairly certain Gaudio was kidding when he made that salacious declaration. Even if he wasn't, I, and many others, couldn't possibly care less. After a 17-month hiatus, he set definitive plans to make a legitimate comeback to the sport that had made him a grand slam champion.
His loyal, long-suffering fan base finally had a reason to celebrate.
Watching the ebb and flow of Gaudio's place in tennis is tantamount to navigating an amusement park blindfolded. You spend your time dizzy and disoriented, yet you find yourself thoroughly entertained and completely drawn to the pursuit. The next chapter in Gaudio's career has yet to be written. Either way, better buckle up for another wild ride.

Oh my, how lovely is he? I have no good gab for Coria as you know, but it is a treat to see Gaudio again. I hope he is well fit and healthy as a horse.

Come to think of it, you did not include a fitness prog report. I trust you may well have all answers here, so how is the man feeling? I heard of a bunk ankle last year, if grey matter serves.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 3:00 AM
the question wasn't directed at me, but i heard the ankle is fine. it was a bad problem last year but it's rehabed now.
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 3:29 AM
Any information is more than I once had, dear. I assume you will behave yourself from now on if you are staying put?
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 3:46 AM
i'm over it so yeah. are you watching tennis rq? there are multiple links around @ cs.
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 4:00 AM
Aye, in the midst of the williams match. It is a tangled mess what with all the service breaks. Suppose it will do to put me to sleep this evening.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 4:08 AM
i never watch wta it's junk. @ the challenger event,, gato won the first match 60 46 62. it's early but cool to see after soooo long. :)
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 4:21 AM
Lovely! I was in the dark about your affection for him, dear. Are you a fan from long ago or a short bit following Paris?
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 4:29 AM
Right well enough of the women's mess for me, and I am dozing at the computer. Should you uncover more Gaston information, please share it. Adieu and goodnight, Adrianne dear.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 4:35 AM
nooooo i'm a fan from way back before he won it all in paris. you look around but find nothing @ him now. i'll keep posting stuff i find for you. :)
goodnight rq see you..
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 4:45 AM
Hopefully Gato can get himself back to the top
JohnnyM , 1/22/09 5:52 AM
fuck kellucci i love you lmfao~~Ese hombre me mató
mishy , 1/22/09 6:03 AM
Gaston won his first match back. What a legend.
RickyDimon , 1/22/09 6:40 AM
Very nice to see that Gaudio has support after such a long absence!
RQ, I think the ligament tears are fine- you may want to check with other sources for confirmation...
DB, thanks for posting the Iquique results- any updates are appreciated and feel free to post them here. He plays Hartfield next, I believe.
Kelli , 1/22/09 8:48 AM
Swell. I shall hope the ankle (ligament, you say?) mends right well. He indeed plays Diego Hartfield, and if grey serves, they are quite close. Oh my, so much lovely on the court at a sitting. Iquique may be the most charmed city in South Am atm.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 4:52 PM
Indeed I was correct after browsing the mess at site ATP. Gaston and Diego play the last match of the day today. The geo-loc is near 3 hours past your time.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 5:00 PM
wow both of them are so beautiful lol. too bad we have no ways to see it on a link.
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 6:49 PM
Lovely, Adrianne. I confess I went foraging (I can't help myself) about a little. You must read this short passage from a site called allvoices.com. The site itself fails to ring a bell on my end, but the writer (under the moniker Diego84) tickled me---
"Hurrah for the sincerity. This time the argentinian tennis player Gaston Gaudio said a sentence worthy of his incredible backhand- I still want to play tennis so I can do have more sex. Everybody knows it, but nobody says it. In this case the sincerity of the player is to appreciate.
(I edited the install about his sagging career. No need to beat a dead horse there.)
"Gaudio, called El Gato (The Cat in spanish), gave this incredible claim to his supporters- I?ll be back to tennis in January or February. For sure I?ll play in some latino American tournaments. I have already asked for some invitations. Probably this return won?t change anything in tennis world but surely many women will be happier."
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 7:19 PM
lol so cute & perfect how he gives reponses to the press. you thinking it's gotta be a joke rq?
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 8:03 PM
I have no earthly idea what twists around in his mind. LOL. I gather he doesn't set out to put french letters above tennis racquets, but I know no more than you do, my dear. Information has filtered through the wire to me, should it be accurate one can piece together why he'd say such a thing. I shall put my rump on a limb here, but I harbor doubts any lady would complain!
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 8:19 PM
i had no clue what french letters was till i looked it up. O_O mariano zabaleta is in chile too,,he plays sicko pashanski **gross**
DejaBlue , 1/22/09 8:46 PM
Aye, I knew he was there with his nonsexual better half. I shall hope the equally charming Mariano is not infected by the foulness of Pashanski. The mention of his name moves me to stomach sickness.
RocketQueen , 1/22/09 9:09 PM
He does it again. Gato beat Diego Hartfield 6-1, 2-6, 7-5. Two wins in a row is awesome for Gaston.
JohnnyM , 1/23/09 12:36 AM
omg how $*%$%^$#&^%$#*^$*&^$ awesome lol. sorry i am acting a fool & all, i just love this guy!
DejaBlue , 1/23/09 12:39 AM
Lovely day in Iquique. Thank you for posting the final score, JohnnyM. I had a sneaker in my mind he might win it. I am thrilled for him and his fans, here's to the hope of a third win in a row.
RocketQueen , 1/23/09 1:12 AM
gato plays juan pablo brzezicki in the qtrs &,,scum pashanski beat zabaleta unfortunately.
DejaBlue , 1/23/09 1:45 AM
Oh my, well that puts a bitter taste on my tongue. I suppose we cannot have everything go our way, dear. By the bye, I know less than nothing about JP Brzezicki, but perhaps he'll step aside and lose tomorrow. LOL.
I am knackered here, dear. Goodnight!
RocketQueen , 1/23/09 2:09 AM
goodnight rq. i'll come back to give results @ a gato win & a scum pashanski loss tomorrow. :)
DejaBlue , 1/23/09 2:23 AM
massive win after an expected mental walkabout in the second
I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with a Challenger result
RickyDimon , 1/23/09 3:26 AM
Hype is the word. Gaudio won't return to the top with his game. Ferocious backhand, but he is way too passive.
samprallica , 1/23/09 7:27 AM
hey how the hell do you hype a player who is 30?! what a stupid comment!!! besides he has more of a chance than wta serving coria.
trixxyfest , 1/23/09 10:39 AM
Gato&Safin separated at birth???
Hope they'll play around for a while.
milivice , 1/23/09 1:45 PM
I wonder if I am misreading milivice's post, but the idea of playing around made me giggle a bit. Rather appropriate for Gaston and Marat if I am correct. My sincerest apologies if that was not what you meant, dear. The mention of those to in a sentence, loose in the streets somewhere........you know where my mind wandered!
Oh well, I am not sure if either of these treats are working. Worth a try perchance?

Gaston has the ending match of the day as it went yesterday.
RocketQueen , 1/23/09 7:19 PM
i don't care if he gets to the top at all. its good to see him playing tourneys again. rq thx for the links. dunno y but i'm sort of nervous for gato. one win was good & two was great. we're getting greedy lol.
DejaBlue , 1/23/09 8:42 PM
RQ, there was no misreading, your grey is sharp as always.
On & Off the court. :D
milivice , 1/23/09 9:42 PM
You are most welcome, Adrianne. I regret I know very little of Gaston's opponent, otherwise I would make an honest attempt to quell your nervous energy. Take care dear, he has accomplished more this week than most of us had hoped.
Swell milivice, cheers. The pink blush on my face can now reverse itself. LOL.
RocketQueen , 1/23/09 10:04 PM
Gaudio retired just 6 points into his quarterfinal match. From the livestream, it looked like a hamstring tear.
Terrible luck for the guy
JohnnyM , 1/23/09 10:13 PM
Oh my goodness, how awful. What a sad state of affairs this ankle injury has become.
RocketQueen , 1/23/09 10:18 PM
Can't stand bad news. Not tonight.
milivice , 1/23/09 10:18 PM
He played a good first three points, had 15-30 on JPBs serve. Then got hurt moving to his right on the fourth point. Retired two points later after an injury timeout. It DID NOT look good.
Horrible news. It's hard to imagine him persevering if stuff like this is always going to happen.
RickyDimon , 1/23/09 10:20 PM
he said he thinks it is a thigh muscle tear. god this is horrible & i'm so upset right now!!
DejaBlue , 1/23/09 10:22 PM
he's done. Dreadful development.
RickyDimon , 1/23/09 10:25 PM
i wasn't a fan or a follower, but you gotta feel for the guy. what a nightmare having your body break down every couple months.
trixxyfest , 1/24/09 12:54 AM
he was supposed to get into buenos aires with a wc, but won't for not being fit enough in time. worse yet people say the muscle tear is dope related & i don't believe a word of that. horrible!!!
DejaBlue , 1/24/09 5:57 AM
His run of atrocious luck reminds me of Ancic's- it just never seems to end. As for that doping accusation, there is nothing to it on Gaudio's end. There have been a few Argentine players who have been popped for it before- Gaudio was not one of them. Ignore it if you hear it again.
Kelli , 1/25/09 1:08 AM
i didn't think he did thx!! :D hopefully he gets alot better soon.
DejaBlue , 1/25/09 1:43 AM
Gaudio is many things, but a doper is not one of them.
JohnnyM , 1/25/09 3:58 PM
they weren't talking about the kinda dope you inject if it's gaudio. gaudio plus "dope" is the green type of dope. you want the shots, try that hacker puerta or gayelle guillermo coria.
trixxyfest , 1/25/09 6:43 PM
Nah I'm talking about hype as in how a person who disses Nole as not marketable fawns over a has been.
samprallica , 1/25/09 7:14 PM
read the comment i posted before you make a fool of yourself trolling you idiot. "i wasn't a fan or a follower."
trixxyfest , 1/25/09 7:55 PM
Green dope? As in marijuana? Weed doesn't contribute to an injury.
JohnnyM , 1/25/09 8:27 PM
no not that it had anything to do with his injury. i meant gaudio loves his chronic outside of tennis, he isn't a dope injecting cheater.
trixxyfest , 1/25/09 8:37 PM
Oh, well in that case, more of a reason for his legendary status!
Seriously though, hopefully this injury is nothing serious
JohnnyM , 1/25/09 8:59 PM
he isn't dumb enough to smoke marijuana & he is a professional athlete. sorry i don't believe you, how could he even concentrate at all on playing his matches?!!!!!
i read gato is not talking to any publications about it. i dunno if i should be calm or more nervous about that.
DejaBlue , 1/25/09 9:30 PM
are you seriously saying athletes don't smoke ganja? hahahahahahaha okay sure. you are a stupid fool if you don't think gaudio, zaba, chela, and the rest of the argies ain't half baked all the time.
trixxyfest , 1/25/09 9:40 PM
Acasuso is a pretty obvious one.
Also, DejaBlue, smoking weed makes very little difference in being able to perform in sports.
JohnnyM , 1/26/09 1:35 AM
i wouldn't know @ being a stupid fool in that way, bc i don't smoke weed. but i thought it might make your reactions slower.
i dunno johnnym. what if acasuso was straight, he wouldn't have lost the davis cup match. you seem like you know more than i do & at least your being nice :) weed doesn't matter with performance level? okay if you say so, but i'm unsure.
DejaBlue , 1/26/09 2:20 AM
Well the best information is given first hand, no?
I usually don't notice much of a difference in my game at least. On the contrary, it actually helps me in focusing in on my game and analyzing what I'm doing right and wrong!
Several other studies have shown that it does not hinder health, mind, or reaction time. I still fail to see how it is even considered "doping", but hey, the ITF makes the rules, not me.
And Acasuso still would have lost ;)
JohnnyM , 1/26/09 5:02 AM
i felt so bad for acasuso!! at the endof it, it looked like he was crying. :(
you are a tennis player johnnym? how cool good for you!! i guess you can smoke weed & still win when you play. im guessing you don't smoke while you are playing..you mean outside of tennis. if it doesnt affect you, i guess it's all good.
DejaBlue , 1/26/09 6:51 PM
Adrianne, I don't believe he indulges while playing, but rather a choice of lifestyle. Now I wasn't ever in a room with Gaston, Mariano, Jose, et all, but I'd venture to say the odds of them rolling a bliff at some moment in time? 100%! I don't like the effects myself, but I cannot see anyone upset over plant usage.
I searched for an answer from archain ITF pages, but that confounded ATP site has bunk links. I don't think you'd find cannabis on the list of prohibbed substances. Caution before quoting me, I could very well be wrong.
RocketQueen , 1/26/09 7:56 PM
I remember reading somewhere on the ITF site that "cannabinoids" were on the banned substance list. I could also be wrong though.
JohnnyM , 1/26/09 8:58 PM
Here we are. http://www.itftennis.com/shared/medialibrary/pdf/original/IO_37544_ori ginal.PDF
The site says "cannabinoids" are included in their group of "in-competition" substances. Very well, but I don't understand what slanted advantage it might hand over to an opponent. Colour me right well confused here.
RocketQueen , 1/26/09 9:34 PM
rq any word if he's going to be part of the south american swing?
DejaBlue , 1/27/09 7:35 PM
Good evening, dear. I am sure he will not be mended in time to accept a wildcard admittance to Buenos Aires next month. Many are already calling for his burial, but my chin is up and hopeful.
RocketQueen , 1/27/09 8:06 PM
no offence, but judging by the looks of the guy's last trade level he's done.
trixxyfest , 1/27/09 8:28 PM
i have no idea what your post means trixxyfest. the injury wasn't a complete tear & you must have heard him say it to the chile press.
DejaBlue , 1/27/09 8:43 PM
Nor do I. Please take time out to explain the comment, dear.
RocketQueen , 1/27/09 9:00 PM
his career is over. the comment about trade level means he can't land the same kind of hot pieces he used to. the girl hes got now is gutter gash in plain english, got it?
trixxyfest , 1/27/09 9:30 PM
LOL oh my, that is pure rubbish. I don't follow the love lives of tennis players, but what you have posted here is laughable. People gravitate to whomever they wish, I find your logic a tad suspect.
RocketQueen , 1/27/09 10:04 PM
well i do! i don't agree with you at all. gato dates models and actresses all the time & if you knew what you were saying, i don't know how you come up with your post.
DejaBlue , 1/27/09 10:22 PM
Adrianne dear, there is no logic left in cyberspace. I would let this one go without a quarrel. LOL.
RocketQueen , 1/27/09 10:58 PM
i saw more posts & i get it now. i found this link @ him--> http://www.eleco.com.ar/index.php?action=detalle&modul=noticias&id_not icia=11854
DejaBlue , 1/28/09 2:00 AM
By all means, don't leave the audience hanging. If I'm not a legitimate fan of Gaudio's backhand, let everyone know why I wrote this article.
Kelli , 1/28/09 3:39 AM
LOL. My goodness today! I have not been on the receiving end of an edit notice, and you have left it in its proper place, so I must ask. Should any of us know your identity?
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 4:23 AM
I MEAN NO HARM IN CASE YOU ARE ANGRY WITH SANCHEZ. SHE KNOW WHO I AM TRUST ME BIG TIME.
dirtysanchez , 1/28/09 4:53 AM
Mr. Sanchez, I must bid you adieu for the evening, as I am famished and fatigued. Big Brother is watching you, so be kind until I return from the office tomorrow. Until then, I put you in my file cabinet under the heading of harmless troll.
I did not bite on your suggestion to Google Gaston. I have a feeling I might well have guessed what you were doing. LOL.
He is a fax of the noble Chad Kroeger from Nickelback, "Got to meet the hottie with the million dollar body. They say its over budget but you'd pay him just to touch it come on."
Two can play at that, dear. You claim to know her, then proof is your only option and an excellent concept to boot. Cheers.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 5:08 AM
i dunno what's going on here but beware of stalker trolls. :)
DejaBlue , 1/28/09 6:42 AM
Very interesting, dear. I am not swayed, and I shall share the reason why with you. You know no more than a physical description, which anyone would know had they seen photographs and the like. LOL. Rather cute you are, but that's the sum of it. You have me unmoved today, for all who know say the lady resembles Angelina's love child.
Adrianne dear, I'm afraid to report he will not be in fit condition for Buenos Aires. Shame of a development, indeed.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 5:58 PM
hi i know rq & i'm sadder today than last week. it isn't fair he's injured all the time & can't get more than two matches in!!!
DejaBlue , 1/28/09 7:15 PM
Hello there- I am fairly sure that Gaudio had indicated he would try to work out the BA details, not necessarily that he'd already accepted. I'm not 100% positive on that front- I'll ask around.
A special message for our new guest here- unless you find yourself on the following list of tennis players who have seen a face to face close-up of me:
Nadal, Gasquet, Haas, Gonzalez, Gulbis, Blake, Querrey, Murray, Youzhny, Ginepri, Ancic, Wawrinka, Lapentti, Lopez, Ferrer, Clement, Dancevic, Kuerten, Agassi, Rios, (I'm not fully awake yet, so I may have missed some)
Or you're on a list of musicians or professional wrestlers (too long to list)- I guarantee you don't know me.
Enjoy your stay here dirtysanchez, and welcome. :)
Kelli , 1/28/09 7:39 PM
LOL. Making the work drudge a little easier. You must admit the tirade was complimentary, unlike a handful of the others! By the bye, should you stay with me today, did you find the trixxyfest post to be fair and square? He/she is an irascible person, but the words are lingering somewhat.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 8:04 PM
I try, RQ, I try. :) The time change in Australia has my days and nights reversed. Be a pal and point out the comment for me.
Kelli , 1/28/09 8:22 PM
This one, dear. "no offence, but judging by the looks of the guy's last trade level he's done."
I am stretching my grey figuring out what irks me about it. Now I'm requesting a good faith answer in return for my comment fetching. LOL.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 8:33 PM
Ah, okay. The comment is troubling you because it deconstructs person-to-person connection in the coldest, most calculated way possible.
You're a die-hard romantic- remember I included you in the Verdasco blog ;)- and the idea that a person's quality of companion (I'm guessing the poster's implication was a physical lack of quality, btw) depends upon their career success, ie. $$$$ offends you.
I'm going to upset you a bit. Do I think the poster has a point? Yes. Some women (not all), are drawn to successful men with money. It's an irrefutable fact of life, just as it is when men chase after physically beautiful women. It stands to reason a man who is less successful, with less money, may suffer lack of physical quality of companion.
It's a business transaction of sorts. And professional athletes are not immune to this particular chain of command.
Now, do I think this is specific to Gaudio? No. I'm not getting into a long-winded discussion about past, current or future relationships- I couldn't care less- but from what I know and have seen first hand, he is well-equipped to handle his business, should he be 5 in the world, without a ranking, or anything else.
Kelli , 1/28/09 8:51 PM
I am a bit jaded, but I shall live nicely. Such is the course of life, one I knew right well to the core. Gratitude for the good faith answer, dear. I close another day with no qualms about my "gravitational pull toward" the ending line. LOL.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 9:17 PM
no!!! that's a terrible thing to say & i disagree. love is love & it comes from the inside not what you look like. tennis players can be romantic people who like a person for who they are.
DejaBlue , 1/28/09 9:32 PM
Adrianne, avoid the temptation to take the post to heart. I agree with you, but this isn't lock, stock, barrel for all people. I wanted an opinion about that post trixxyfest tapped out, stay serene dear.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 9:40 PM
can't help it rq, i need to believe in love for everyone & tennis players are in that group!!! i shouldn't of read the post. :(:(:(
DejaBlue , 1/28/09 9:50 PM
This will be my last post of the day- I have to figure out a way to convince a certain vagrant friend of mine NOT to accept an invitation to Vina del Mar....big, bad wolves disguised as tennis players are grown in Ecuador, girls. All gifts come with strings attached, so buyer beware. ;)
My response was not meant to imply that ALL situations were the same. Many people feel the way you do, DB. Don't ever substitute my opinions and judgement for your own- it's not meant to be taken as gospel.
That being said, to turn a blind eye to the way the world works doesn't make a lot of sense either, does it? I'm not saying every pro athelete conducts himself in one specific way- look at Federer and Nadal for example, both have sustained long-term relationships. Some of them are like self-indulgent rockstars, however, they just use tennis rackets instead of amps and guitars.
Enjoy your time as a tennis fan, DB. Don't get bogged down in the details, don't overthink things and try not to question why guys do what they do. The answer you'll find while tearing your hair out? Simple- they do it because they can. ;)
Federer is set turn Roddick into street pizza late today....so hold down the fort for me, RQ.
Kelli , 1/28/09 10:24 PM
As I see this suspense rearing its pablumy head, Andy shall call the day Christmas to drag Roger to a tie break. Indeed I shall do so, dear. Cheers.
RocketQueen , 1/28/09 10:36 PM
okay :D i forgot about roger & rafa.

As per a request from the powers that be, please refrain from using all caps in your posts, dirtysanchez. They are distracting, and are also considered screaming with respect to internet posting. Thank you. :)
I have a prior engagement to cover the Federer/Roddick match. RocketQueen will return tomorrow to answer your questions.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Mr. Sanchez, but Gaudio took that title fair and square. It's not his fault Coria is a mental midget.
JohnnyM , 1/29/09 10:54 AM
Gaudio won it rather than Coria losing it. Coria tanked the fourth to get ready for the fifth, which was basically even the whole way. Coria choked one of his match points with a fh down-the-line that was BARELY wide, but it wasnt like a complete choke, he actually hit it cleanly. Then Gaudio just hit too good of a bh on Coria's other match point.
Then Gaudio just took over at 6-6 in the fifth, mainly thanks to his 1HBH. Coria has never had any weapons like that shot.
RickyDimon , 1/29/09 3:56 PM
Thank the heavens above for caps lock release. Sorry you waited for me all evening, dear. One should never be starved for Gaston musings. I trust the words of the fellows who came before me. JohnnyM and RickyDimon have explained it right well to you.
Be well advised I am no lover of this Coria. His deportment always turned my blood cold.
Much is spun about the Coria destiny or some such. He had two sets in his keep, but reliquised a lead as the match grew older. Standard for a return from Gaudio to make up the difference. Are you firmly in the Coria choked camp? Aye, he was press princess indeed, but we know the identity of the victor, don't we?
RocketQueen , 1/29/09 6:10 PM
hi rq. lololol thx for getting rid of the caps lock & i don't mean to be mean but they are sooo annoying!
erm @ the coria stuff, heres my 2 cents. okay he's the star growing up or whatever but he didn't win. its like a fact in history or something that coria didn't win. so gato's 60 in the world going into it but so what!!! i got nada good to say @ him bc i think he was a bad sportsman, taking timeouts he doesn't need & stalling.
DejaBlue , 1/29/09 7:08 PM
Good afternoon Adrianne, dear. I quite agree with what you posted, and I am tickled to add a visual aid to the discussion. Let us have the doubters view this youtube video of the two gentlemen in question. Oh my goodness, what a final set in Paris! I still grin at its remembrance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_N9NalnxtTY
RocketQueen , 1/29/09 7:45 PM
best drama ever!!!! thx for posting it rq so great. :D :D :D coria was such a bitchy bitch up to the end sticking his finger up in the air. lolol i want to break it off for realz. i have to be off now, will you be here later?
DejaBlue , 1/29/09 8:03 PM
No dear, I'm afraid my time shall be abbreviated today. Take care should you not return before I need to excuse myself.
Oh my indeed, what a cantankerous little fellow Coria was. I suppose I might be a tad ornery as well, had I lost a heartsinker of a final to a man I disliked a great deal. By the bye dear, I believe Gaston was 66 in the world when he won. Please do not bank on it, I might very well be wrong again. LOL.
RocketQueen , 1/29/09 8:17 PM
"gaudio won it rather than coria losing it."
does dimon ever get anything right about tennis? dude go review the tape of the match, were you watching the same fifth as the rest of the planet? coria bricked the first championship point, he choked, he lost. i'll repeat it in case you missed it-> coria choked and lost.
trixxyfest , 1/29/09 9:28 PM
i dunno if your just trolling or what but i agree with ricky's post. coria hit one error on match point & it was barely wide.
DejaBlue , 1/29/09 10:52 PM
Lovely news! Gaston has accepted a wildcard to the Copa Telmex. I'm so thrilled, perhaps the injury was not as grave as some had feared.
The details are mapped out here for your perusal. http://ar.news.yahoo.com/s/29012009/7/deportes-noticias-gaudio-entrega ron-wild-card.html
RocketQueen , 1/29/09 11:02 PM
Trixxyfest, if you take a moment to read through Mr. Dimon's post, I'd venture to say you shall find it quite reasonable. It pains me to say so, but Coria was quite close don't you think?
I'm afraid I cannot wait for a response, I must depart for the evening. Cheers for Gaston and a nose thumbing to those who called for his burial. Huzzah!
RocketQueen , 1/29/09 11:14 PM
Thigh muscle situation wasn't that serious. Good news.
milivice , 1/29/09 11:14 PM
:D great news!!!! i hope he does well bc he's gonna have very little practice time.
DejaBlue , 1/29/09 11:25 PM
where beutiful kitty kdm angelina is at? sanchez cold and lonely wihtout you. people writing non truthful things kno that coria loses title from choking. hello rocketqueen sanchez say hi to you also and thanks you for answer. gaudio gonna play again make me happy hearing this.
dirtysanchez , 1/30/09 7:13 AM
wtf? don't get your hopes up/ with no practice being injured, don't expect him to show up there. it's along time to the end of next month. the guy's body is djerkobitch quitting on him.
trixxyfest , 1/30/09 5:44 PM
Dear, why in heaven's name would Gaston accept a wildcard into a tournament without some assurance of fitness? You, yourself are not a fan and you admitted as much. Leave us be to get our hopes up if we so choose, thank you kindly.
RocketQueen , 1/30/09 7:00 PM
ignore him or her rq, they just want to rain on our parade. i agree with you & everyone who is a real fan knows gato wouldn't take a wc unless he felt ok.
DejaBlue , 1/30/09 8:34 PM
the entry list is great!!!! :D :D rq i dunno if you saw the website but go look. http://www.copatelmex.com/
DejaBlue , 1/30/09 8:40 PM
Well played dear, thank you kindly. A fine entry list it is, you're quite right. I was shocked to see Juan Carlos Ferrero there, I thought he was held up with injury. How nice it is to be faulty!
What I would love to see most of all, is for one Mr. Nalbandian to play well and win. I know we're all invested in cheering Gaston onto a swell tournament, but I must say David's display in Melbourned disappointed and saddened me.
RocketQueen , 1/30/09 9:28 PM
you're welcome rq. i dunno @ nalbandian tho, he isn't dedicated to training & keeping fit. did you see what he looked like coming into the ao? it's so bad for a player who is at his level to be so overweight & out of condition. the commentators were making fun of him on espn bc of it. it's not funny at all, it's kinda sad when you think about it.
DejaBlue , 1/30/09 11:48 PM
kitty kdm sorry but gaudio never gonna come back to do nothing!!! already he is more than 30 yrs of age and body breaking down day after day. he is your husband or bf or something why else you talk of old man in these glowing terms. i have placed bets with friends he not show up to play out of injury then he quit. after he quit you, rocketqueen come talk with sanchez who says he knew all along. remember coria forever is champion pls.
dirtysanchez , 1/31/09 4:14 AM
this guy is insane but he has a point. girls have no sense if theyre talking about gaudio, and they never understand what's going on physically with athletes. the guy isn't able to compete at all because he's injured as a regular way of life. get it in your heads with rational thinking instead of getting retarded because you think he's cute or whatever teh hell.
trixxyfest , 1/31/09 5:34 PM
the point is that he's playing again & some of you don't see that. let us be happy @ him playing in an exibhition or a challenger or even in a club at home. so he won't win majors or masters, maybe he won't ever get into a big tournament ever again. so what we don't care, we're his fans sticking by him no matter what. please don't post here if all your doing is being negative.
DejaBlue , 1/31/09 6:32 PM
Oh my dear, Adrianne. I sense your frustration and note the source of it, but people are permitted to voice their opinions here, even when they are contradictory to yours. Please halt the tendency to direct traffic, and allow others to express themselves in due course.
Now to the matter posted earlier, rather a tunnel vision view of support for Gaston. Aye, he is a bit long in the tooth for tennis standards, but we aren't honestly chewing fat about grand slams are we? One can cheer loudly and hope for benevolent things to happen for him, independent of the man's comely looks. Goodness gracious how shallow is that!
RocketQueen , 1/31/09 8:19 PM
yeah ok rq i will keep it to myself from now on. i won't these people stop the woot woot for gato tho!! :D :D :D
DejaBlue , 1/31/09 8:42 PM
No one shall ever ask you to stop, dear. Stay serene and enjoy yourself, feel right free to keep all interested parties up to speed on Gaston's wildcard status. I have a litany of chores in the coming weeks and may not find relevant items in time.
RocketQueen , 2/1/09 3:50 AM
i heard through the news he is feeling better & will be fit in time to play. :D
DejaBlue , 2/1/09 8:35 PM
get bent fangirl dejaboohoo and also you too rocketwench he's not gonna make it, so get out ya crying towel chickys. i've been watching this sport longer than you have and the guy is breaking down like federer did today, only it's physical in gaudio's case. hes probably toking up in chile with the other stoner zaba by now.
trixxyfest , 2/2/09 3:11 AM
Oh lord, dear. Rocketwench? Surely that took you an entire evening to develop. Peculiar comparison between Gaston and Roger, but such is your choice.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 4:33 PM
he'll have to eat his words & apologize when buenos aires comes around. until then i won't respond to anything :D vamos gato we believe in you!!
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 6:11 PM
Have a looksee here, Adrianne. We are not alone in our devotion, I found a snippet from Tennis Grandstand. Writers continue to peruse draw sheets looking for Gaston, and Mr. Coria as well. I suppose I shall grant the latter a pass, although I'm not pleased to see the two are still joined together as if fire and ice. LOL.
"As I was going through the draw I was half-expecting to see names like Mariano Puerta, or Gaston Gaudio, but no such luck."
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 6:22 PM
thx rq! :D can you post the link to the article bc i'd like to see the whole thing. :D
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 6:33 PM
Sorry dear, I cannot do as you ask. We shall call that website cross contamination or some such. LOL. I presented you with sufficient information to find the article, you will be tickled to see interest from the writer.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 6:47 PM
i saw it. :D thx to writers like him & others the haters can get lost! i knew gato would get some attention for doing well in iquique! :D
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 7:02 PM
perez hilton is catching on to the tennis stars rq! you gotta see this & i know he's like a year late or whatever :D but still!! http://perezhilton.com/2009-02-02-completely-gratuitous-123
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 7:13 PM
LOL. What are you doing at that website, dear? Although I'd be hesitant to say the news didn't please me. As a regular reader here, you are right well aware of the predicament tennis is in. Whilst not my first choice of medium, if the word it permeating, all is well.
He chose to display a post of Nando, and I find myself not surprised in the least. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 7:45 PM
a fat gay blogger is posting about verdasco's naked ass, nothing more to say. it's pretty disgusting if ya ask me and i blame federer's last crying fit for it. kinda coninkydink that perez the gay posts about tennis less than a day after federer blubbers like a little girl heh.
trixxyfest , 2/2/09 7:50 PM
tennis needs everybody talking @ it!! i dunno @ you but i'm a real fan of the sport so wherever the writing comes from i don't care. sports illustrated or the times or ever @ perez's site. if nobody talks it's like invisible and that totally sux. god what a hater!!
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 7:56 PM
Trixxy dear, I quite like your posts but your jam had slid off your bread. How are the happenings related? Roger has an emotional moment, and that is linked to a blog post at Perez Hilton's website. Care to take me through the forest?
By the bye, how might you have known the link was for Nando, unless you copied and pasted? LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 8:03 PM
busted!!! :D :D :D
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 8:09 PM
i'm not wastin time explaining so figure it out for yourself. he wrote about federer's sissy pansy act yesterday and today he wrote about verdasco bein naked. can't get it then i can't help your dumbness.
trixxyfest , 2/2/09 8:21 PM
Sorry dear, you are an island here. My good friend talks to me many a night about the value of publicity. Any and all of the lot is beneficial, I hope you open your eyes to it.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 8:53 PM
ok sybil O_O you do that. :D erm speaking of sybil.....i feel sorry for you guys it's worse than last time i was here. the kid never leaves his computer for a second & i know i'm not supposed to say anything but wow he's crazy!!
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 9:23 PM
It's quite alright dear, my patience with the tell spamming runs thin after awhile. I assure you that everyone in power here has known of it for a long time. We laugh at it more than anything, due to its transparency. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 9:34 PM
too funny bc two minutes after you posted he posted again in the same place! :D ok i get the funny in it now, i know those guys who never live away from their computers. :D i gotta leave early rq but i'll see you tomorrow!!!
DejaBlue , 2/2/09 9:40 PM
Good day, dear. Come back tomorrow and perhaps the lady will have shared a story or three about that hideous friend of hers, laying about in Vina del Mar. Huzzah for the big spenders born and bred in Ecuador. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 9:48 PM
I don't think so. ;)
Kelli , 2/2/09 11:08 PM
The lady is cryptic at week's start, how peculiar. You do realize you don't compensate me enough for my duties done in your absence, and I may feel the urge to park my rump elsewhere. I deserve a detailed explanation, if for no other reason than fiscal courtesy. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 11:21 PM
I know, I know. I need you though- I was busy consulting the dictionary to learn the meaning of "huzzah." And now I know...
Let her deal with your curiosity. I wonder if she'll be willing after you called her hideous. ;)
Kelli , 2/2/09 11:29 PM
You required the hand of Websters to untangle huzzah? Surely you are not serious! Either you have been linguistically starved, or I am not nearly as clever as I had hoped.
Very well, dear. I shall devote the remainder of the day to spaghetti sticking her mail with requests wearing complaints' clothing. LOL.
My thoughts are with you, should you be forced to watch any match with that drain clog Monsieur Massu.
RocketQueen , 2/2/09 11:39 PM
why's massu a brain clog rocketwench? he's an ugly mug but i don't get what you said. you got your own brain changed around ready to say tennis ain't a sport for crying wussy boys like fed yet? bad news when homos like perez hiltonoflard are writing about it cuz your gonna be out of a job.
trixxyfest , 2/3/09 12:45 AM
You know I shouldn't answer you after you stamped me with such a rude nickname, but I will. DRAIN clog dear, DRAIN clog, I urge you to please read items correctly in the future.
I said as much of Massu because I find him right well revolting. My good friend used the phrase persona non grata with regard to him, and it fits snuggly. He has a documented history of treating women like chattle as well. Need I go on for you, dear?
I am not over the hump of my headcold quite yet, so I will pass over your last midge of nonsense. Roger was overcome with genuine emotion dear, and my job shall remain unscathed. The full lot of coverage tennis has received anywhere, in any medium is beneficial.
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 1:05 AM
weak of ya rocketwench to support a pansy ass crying federer, my respect for you is a lot lower now.
trixxyfest , 2/3/09 2:11 AM
be nice when speaking of rocketqueen pls you miss some manners man? sanchez miss you on this evening beutiful rocketqueen but we talking tomorrow pls. never i was fan of vampiro massu who have face like truck run it over. also pls to ask my kitty kdm angelina to talk with head people of atp when so much talking of tennis players as gays people. is okay people is gay but bad for bring in beer drinking type of persons watching.
dirtysanchez , 2/3/09 4:32 AM
erm really nice people here for rq. :x rq are you here did you hear?!! i dunno if this is true bc i don't read or write spanish, but guillermo coria just retired for realz?!!
DejaBlue , 2/3/09 4:29 PM
Thank you for leaping to my defence Mr. Sanchez, but I'm swell dear. LOL.
Pardon me Adrianne dear, I'm barely settled in here this afternoon. Hmmpfh! We should be so lucky to have the little gutter snipe on permanent holiday. I did view a notice on google, but my Spanish is quite horrible. I shall do some inquiring for us today.
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 6:00 PM
no loss now he can go to the wta.
trixxyfest , 2/3/09 7:06 PM
I am no fan of Mr. Coria, but I would wait before celebrating, dear. There is no official declaration anywhere that I have located. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 7:18 PM
forget what i said rocketwench cuz most of those broads have a better serve than him.
trixxyfest , 2/3/09 7:24 PM
Mr. Coria never carried a proper serve, dear. It is a mite insulting for the ladies of the WTA isn't it?
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 8:29 PM
Adrianne dear, this is for you. http://www.vxv.com/canal=tenispro?34851
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 8:55 PM
OO_OO so gorgeous thx rq. :D i had a busy day & that was great to come home to. i love him & mariano both. :D :D :D
DejaBlue , 2/3/09 11:06 PM
I began to wonder about you, dear. LOL. They have a nifty sense of humour and a perfectly timed notion about how to entertain. Odd I hadn't heard of this Tennis Pro show until year's beginning, but I quite like it.
RocketQueen , 2/3/09 11:18 PM
Hello there- nothing has hit my inbox about Coria hanging up his racket. I don't know where you heard it, DB.
RQ- Tenis Pro has been around for a long time. I'd have to go digging up the old links, but you should see a few. They're cute. ;)
The following is completely random. Posted. For no reason. No reason at all. Just helping out with lesser covered matches:
Qualifier and Roland Garros doubles champion Pablo Cuevas outlasted '02 Movistar Open winner Nicolas Lapentti 6-3, 3-6, 7-5. (from site almighty, ATP dot com)
Get ready for Massu vs. Calleri tonight- there is cash to be made.
Kelli , 2/4/09 12:02 AM
A nonseck'd, random post about that man. From you? Did you know the noble moon is made from cheese curd? LOL.
I have not a drop of need to see the match you spoke of dear, but I shall let you lead me by way of your nifty match report.
RocketQueen , 2/4/09 12:16 AM
give it up rocketwench gaudio and zabaleta are old stoner hacks, they gotta retire before the make bigger fools outta themselves. speakin of ugly hacks no way i'm watching the massu and calleri clown college match w lots of worthless tennis comin up in that one.
trixxyfest , 2/4/09 2:12 AM
Allow them to play for as long as the game brings them more good than harm. I have an early morning at the grind tomorrow and you need sleep. Cheers, dear.
RocketQueen , 2/4/09 3:08 AM
rq & anybody else gato is in another clarin article! :D he is serious @ getting back to the top 100. :D :D
http://www.ole.clarin.com/notas/2009/02/04/polideportivo/01852259.ht ml
DejaBlue , 2/4/09 5:29 PM
Thank you, dear. I keep fingers crossed and a four leaf clover with me, hoping Gaston is successful in his efforts. Certainly he has the game for it, don't you think? Time spent inside the top 100 doesn't seem too lofty a goal.
If you would wrangle a translator for me, much obliged. LOL. Oh my, my Spanish is even more rustic than I thought.
RocketQueen , 2/4/09 7:26 PM
hihihi beutiful rocketqueen i not say hello to kitty kdm no more until she respond. statements is truth more bigger talent coria not playing no more. is the truth he retire big shame, for should have won paris but go down in the history as big loser.
dirtysanchez , 2/5/09 2:11 AM
Okay dear, I shall tell the lady you refuse to speak with her until she offers a greeting. LOL. I have yet to locate any article which gives a point by point account of Mr. Coria's retirement, dear. Cheers.
Pardon the non trans here, but anything newsworthy and all. http://www.diarioshow.com/notas/2009/02/02/5162-si-me-vuelven-a-insult ar-no-hay-problema.html
RocketQueen , 2/5/09 4:22 PM
thx rq even if i don't know spanish that good. :D i'll find someone who does bc gato is so adorable in interviews even if he's mad. :D
DejaBlue , 2/5/09 8:02 PM
Take away two things from the second Gaudio interview-
1) he said he wasn't surprised to see Rafa win the AO title
2) when asked if he had seen Federer crying during the trophy presentation, he said he had, calling it "something very crazy."
and of course, hello to DS. :)
Kelli , 2/5/09 10:48 PM
heh even a hack like gaudio thinks federer is a sissy!!!!!!!
trixxyfest , 2/5/09 11:00 PM
Thank you dear, you know I am loath to speak for you. By the bye, I see the wretched Monsieur Massu lost thankfully, although my suspicions tell me he may have cost you a few bushels of cabbage. LOL.
A midge ironic for Gaston to toss those words about, wouldn't you say? Indeed Roger was emotional, but 'crazy' seems harsher than need be.
RocketQueen , 2/6/09 12:20 AM
no he was being honest for once in his life rocketwench, fed's a wussy little girl an everybody knows it. when a nuttburger like gaudio calls you crazy, ya got big problems in your brain.
trixxyfest , 2/6/09 2:50 AM
have much big love for you beutiful kitty kdm thanks for say hello to me on this evening. hello also for rocketqueen but why this poster have called you rocketwench? you not get mad with sanchez but must agree lunatic gaston gaudio call one person crazy is very bad. gaudio is large lunatic okay so roger federer hang head in shame pls.
dirtysanchez , 2/6/09 3:42 AM
Oh honestly dears, he described the situation as he viewed it, not Roger. I think tje two of you do this on purpose just to bait me, do you not? LOL. Yes, Gaston is rather a heated fellow, but I have my doubts about him slating one of the most important men in tennis during this stage of his comeback.
RocketQueen , 2/6/09 3:46 PM
gato didn't insult roger at all & you know that if you read his comments. :D he was saying the scene was crazy not that feds was crazy for crying like he did. give feds a break bc he just had lost a really important match to tie a record of slams.
DejaBlue , 2/6/09 5:41 PM
We're leaving that discussion, dear. Here is the full description from the Copa site, have a look sometime this weekend. And in case you have forgotten the addy, its locale is Copatelmex.com.
RocketQueen , 2/7/09 4:34 PM
he seems find so far even w out lots of practice on the leg. rq where are you latetly girl?!!! anyhoo he is a video he did for espn in spanish, he looks so *swoon* more than ever. :D :D :D

He will play nalbandian if both win their first matches. That will be some match to return if he wins!
orion , 2/14/09 10:18 PM
omg that sux so much to have to play nalbandian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gato has got to deal with injury & if he wins in the first round which isn't definate anyhow, he plays a top player in the round after. so a fixed draw & i hate hate hate martin jaite for this! :( :( :(
DejaBlue , 2/15/09 6:19 PM
If Gaudio wins one match it will be roaring success. Who he has to play in the second round is irrelevant at his point.
RickyDimon , 2/15/09 7:22 PM
you got an opinion @ it but i 10000% don't agree bc i'm a fan of his & you aren't. the draw matters & gato got a bad one. if jaite really cared @ doing the best thing for the tournament he wouldve put gato somewhere else in the draw, so he avoids seeds like nalbandian for the last possible minute!!!!!
DejaBlue , 2/15/09 10:40 PM
sanchez asking where is rocketqueen gone this long! also why come this is girls getting stupid crazy of a guy who not gonna win nothing? hear me now crazy girl gaudio maybe not even gonna show up from injury. guy show up he gonna lose bad to gimeno like mabye he take 1 or 2 game.
dirtysanchez , 2/16/09 8:06 AM
Hello-
The never-duplicated Ms. Rocketqueen is on vacation- on holiday as she calls it- until tomorrow morning. Do not worry, she is set to return. :)
As for Gaudio's fixed draw- it was nice he had a place in the main draw with a wildcard in the first place. Better yet, the fans get to see him play again SOMEWHERE. Be happy for that and hope he's feeling halfway decent.
Kelli , 2/16/09 5:32 PM
ok good it was almost forever she's not here & i need somebody holding my hand for gato's first match!! :D i dunno if i should answer the freak two posts up but some girls actually like gato's tennis too. to me it doesn't matter if he's winning 1 or 10 or 0 games. :D:D
DejaBlue , 2/16/09 6:12 PM
DB, I can't hold your heand, but I share the agony. I'm one more on the list who appreciate Gato's appearance. :D

thx alot for that & it's good knowing i won't be alone sitting in my stress!!!! vamos gato :D:D:D
DejaBlue , 2/16/09 8:41 PM
DB, always hope for the best. :D
I'm taking my vitamines and waiting for always calm & steady RocketQueen.
milivice , 2/16/09 9:38 PM
get back to work rocketwench, you've been goldbricking for too long as it is. i want to see your reaction when gaudio eats two bagels from that gimp gimeno traver in front of his people. i put a bet down on you and the rest of the hens that you'll quit on him faster than nohole cheaterbitch quits when he's losing.
trixxyfest , 2/16/09 10:10 PM
Cheers dears! LOL, oh my I do love this return greeting. Cheers Adrianne, milivice, Mr. Sanchez, and even trixxy the grouch. Mr. Sanchez, I must tell you.. this growing preoccupation with Gaston is rather peculiar.
Gaston plays Daniel GT late in Buenos Aires. I shall not call that one, although I have crossed fingers he will feel fit as a fiddle. Such a match is a great treat for the Argentinian fans. He has a lovely article in Clarin once more, here is the copy for the ladies and gents who might know Spanish better than I. LOL.

DejaBlue , 2/17/09 6:03 PM
LOL hello and goodbye, dear. I shall be here to see it, brandy in a mug beside me to settle the jitters.
RocketQueen , 2/17/09 6:12 PM
gak i'm in between stupid stuff in the library so i have like 5 seconds. :D omg rq they showed gato practicing shirtless!!!!!!!! *droooool* i don't care what happens later bc he looks awesome & that's it!!! cy u soon :D:D
DejaBlue , 2/17/09 10:49 PM
Your fervor is lovely, Adrianne. Sorry dear, I missed it as the video screen is showing decrepit Moya now. He is a favourite among some, but holds no sparkle for me. I shall be around if you need oxygen after seeing the half unclad Gaston. LOL.
RocketQueen , 2/17/09 10:56 PM
i changed my mind rq ackkkkkkk i can't watch it bc he's gonna lose bad!! :( i swore i can't take more of his matches & being sick not knowing if he's got to retire hurt or whatever.
DejaBlue , 2/18/09 12:18 AM
As you wish, dear. LOL. You knew this match might be a difficult one to take calmly.
RocketQueen , 2/18/09 12:31 AM
2 breaks down already & i'm in a really bad mood. :(:(
DejaBlue , 2/18/09 12:41 AM
6-2 & gato isn't doing anything good yet. goodnight rq this is giving me a headache!!!
DejaBlue , 2/18/09 12:52 AM
Curious and peculiar place to pull up stakes, but there is nothing more to view I see. Rather pointless now searching for a duplicate place to set down. LOL. Fear not, there is always another time to lend support. Pleasant dreams, Adrianne dear.
RocketQueen , 2/18/09 1:06 AM
Wow he took the middle set(rubs his eyes in disbelief) maybe deja was jinxing him
orion , 2/18/09 1:45 AM
I'm sure she's watching. No sleep tonight.
milivice , 2/18/09 1:51 AM
Now, I wish I went to bed.
milivice , 2/18/09 2:18 AM
hahahahahahahahaha poor dejaboohoo, rocketwench, milivice the gaudio hack fangirls couldn't take it!!! come on crybabies it's ok, he wasn't half pathetic. he won a set off of that gimp germaino trabble whose a pretty decent player on clay.
trixxyfest , 2/18/09 3:30 AM
trixxy, Gato might be a lot of things but NEVER pathetic.
milivice , 2/18/09 2:43 PM
Rather harsh comment from you, dear. Please show a bit more consideration, Gaston made an earnest return after more than a calendar year away from the tour. Under the circumstances, I'd say it was a valiant effort and one not to be ridiculed.
RocketQueen , 2/18/09 5:46 PM
Here you are little sprite, watch this and you will be right as rain once more. http://sports.espn.go.com/broadband/video/videopage_ray?videoId=391596 2&categoryId=2482617&n8pe6c=2&brand=deportes

Gaudio lost 7-5 in the third at miami qualifying. Almost there lol
orion , 3/24/09 12:38 AM
Almost...
milivice , 3/24/09 1:41 AM
He plays first round against Junqueira tomorrow; a real opportunity for him to win hopefully
orion , 4/18/09 7:48 PM
very winnable first-round match. VAMOS.
RickyDimon , 4/19/09 1:16 AM
For anyone on Gato-watch, he won his first round match in Tunisia over Daniel Brands of Germany 6-4, 6-2. :) He'll play Bjorn Phau next- tough one.
Clarin broke the news earlier- Guillermo Coria has officially retired. Read his comments and view the article here: http://www.clarin.com/diario/2009/04/28/um/m-01907658.htm
