I?m really disappointed with your article. On what did you base for writing this article? Do you know him personal? Are you present when he practises, so you know how many hours per week he trains?
I remember that his Fishmatch in New Haven was just after the plane crash in Madrid. Verdasco played with mourning band and after his match he said it was very difficult for him to concentrate on his match. Have a little respect for these kind of human things.

I have nothing against Verdasco- it's speculation on my part, which doesn't require an intimate knowledge of him. I'm well aware of the plane crash in Madrid as well, it doesn't exempt a person from executing his job.

Verdasco has talent by the truckload and if he ever gets himself into the top 10 and especially the top 5 he will be a MAJOR star.

I'd love to see if he continues to hang out with Ana, should he accomplish that and get into the top 5. What might he do if/when he no longer "needs" her fame?

Question posed and answered. He's a precious metal digger loved up on the lifestyle. She'll be right well back where she started if he is ever top 5. He's lost his marbles though, it will never happen.

It's a fascinating relationship on many levels. First and foremost, the media seems to be practically *invited* to their outings. Bizarre. Secondly, Nando being known as somewhat of a womanizer, that he would commit to Ivanovic in such a flagrant fashion has me thinking two options: a) he's smitten like he's never been smitten before; or b) he's more media/career savvy than anyone thus far has given him credit for.

I pick tennisgirl's option b. Womanizers rarely change their love socks. I wouldn't be surprised if Fer was tipping off the paps on his own.

I pick tennisgirl's option a -- Fernando is truly smitten for the first time in his life. You can call me naïve, but I like to think that sometimes I can spot true love even when I don't know the individuals personally. It's only a hunch, but then again I was smitten the same way once (and we're still married 32+ years later). I hope they can learn how to handle the pressure of the spotlight while managing their invidual careers. Not an easy task to be sure!

kella knows that nando is kinda slutty. ana loves him but he isn't too into the actual relationship. sex of course & i don't want to hurt anyone, but you know it was all about that. we couldn't imagine the feeling of being on the court and looking out into a crowd hotties down below. i, myself, managed to keep a respectable attitude about the whole scene, however, i can see why some of the tennis guys out there went a little hog-wild with it. and, for the record, i wouldn't trade my crazy times for anything.
