She never gave a single interview, never poised for a magazines, there was nothing that could suggest she wanted to bolster her profile. They both kept it private from the media. So only Safin fans actually knew who she is. Other people had no idea about her.
She and Sylvia were the only girls who didn't try to use Marat and were with him because of him. That's probably why he stayed with them for such a long time.
What Marat said was true though, they didn't have much in common and had different lifes. If anything she was the one more spoiled, since she's a rich girl who got everything without any effort (I don't accuse her for that or anything) and she wasn't the kind of person who would give up her own ambitions and travel with a tennis player supportig him no matter what. They broke up like many other pairs do.
