I love the ATP tennis players - I really appreciate the entertainment of the game but I don't understand why the (hopefully a small minority of) fans would look at it like a conquest to bed them. Isn't what the players do on the court enough already? I'm a little concerned that there could be a stalker or two out there for every level headed fan.

I would be stoked to meet Safin, Tsonga, Federer, Nadal etc and to have a conversation with any of them beyond "good luck" would be amazing... shouldn't that "ideally" be enough if you really support them as a player?

The last question concerning the girls who come to players for a night thinking that it's the beginning of a real relationship is good one. I often see many girls (fans or not trying to attract famous "players". One of my friend who worked with me few years ago, told me that to sleep with one of this men is like a challenge.

She said that if they are interested by her, she had the feeling that she was the "chosen" and she felt special because they didn't select another girl. She is very pretty but I was shocked because clearly she had a lack of confidence and needed to sleep with famous person to be sure of her beauty and seduction.

I can't judge girls who try to build a relationship with players because they are aware that to keep them they must travel and follow them all aournd the world. I am sad for girls who believe that these men want a "real" relationship and accept to sleep with them cause they are in town for few days. I have read some of the posts, and have received a number of emails concerning my answer to "ramblingrose's" question about meeting up with her favourite players. Let me clarify-

I do not approve of random, causal encounters where the girl comes away with absolutely nothing, save a notch on her lipstick case. I said as much before, and I stand by my comments. However, it is foolish and naive to think that by NOT answering the email, the desire to bed her chosen player will magically disappear.

The fact is, these girls exist. They are keen to do exactly as they wish, waiting in hotels, waiting by the players' lounge, and staking out hotel bars and clubs, all in an effort to close escrow on an impromptu meeting of sorts.

Instead of turning a blind eye to it, I would rather answer the query honestly, in an attempt to shield them from as much painful fallout as I possibly can. There are no "real" relationships to be had in this manner, and my goal was, and always is, to protect the girls from making bad decisions, as they are apt to find themselves in situations for which they are ill prepared.
