I'm still leaning towards Mario. I don't think Marcos was in Cincy, but I know Mario was there. I almost ran into him (literally). I was going down the hallway in the hotel, and he was right in front of me. I was surprised to see him, because I knew he'd withdrawn from the tourney and I assumed he'd left town by then.

He looked so tall and thin. I don't know if he's always that thin, or if it was due to his illness. I read he had tests done while there. At first they thought it was the mono again, but supposedly it was some other kind of virus. If it is him and he's a player (and I don't mean tennis), I hope he's careful! Maybe that's how he got mono in the first place.

Can't be Baggy, he hasn't been at any tournaments in ages.

he did talk to me. :) The kids were "hanging around" where the players enter, and up walks Guga carrying his racquet bag. So these two boys say in loudest voices EVER "Who's THAT?" "I dunno, but he has racquets, he must be a player..." Guga was laughing as he signed the autographs, then he said "They did not know me". I told him he was very sweet to sign them. Sigh. Gosh, I love Guga. :)

Yeah, there's something about Guga that just makes you wanna smile when he smiles. Seeing that pic above just reminded me that I saw them play doubles together down in Miami this year. They were playing against Lopez and Verdasco. A lot of hotness on court at the same time! Funny, Verdasco arrived at the court a lot later than everyone else. The crowd started booing him (jokingly) when he finally showed up. Lopez and even the chair ump laughed, and Fernando just smiled like he was embarrassed.

DejaBlue, in addition to Mario and Nico I saw at the hotel Rafa, Clement, Gasquet, Ginepri, Acasuso, Jose Higueras, Mats Wilander, Bjorkman, Bhupathi, Damm. I remember seeing Dima and PHM also, although I can't recall if that was this year or last year. Last year I stayed at the hotel and saw a lot more people. This year I just went over a couple times to have dinner/drinks with a friend who was staying there. Who knows, maybe I was there when Dani did her interview with the Cincy insider (now I wish I'd paid more attention!). The bar was kinda dead compared to last year.

Looks-wise, the only person I remember is Robby. He needs a good haircut, or hairstyle, or something! With his cap off it looks terrible. And unfortunately his hairline is kind of receding. A pity, as otherwise I think he's a pretty good-looking guy.

What a sweet story Cheryl! Thank you for sharing it. Guga is that kind of man who you know isn't putting on an act. His kindness was obvious, and now you have confirmed it. You can tell a lot by how people treat little kids. I love Guga more now. :)

I have seen Safin in person, spoken to him, shared a small joke with him. He is not a big thrill to me, there are other players that are more interesting and more attractive. He is enormously talented, and its a shame that his career was never what it could have been. As smart as Safin his, I do not understand why his fans are so absolutely insane about him. I don't understand why anyone is insane about any tennis player, they are just guys, really no different from the guys on your street.

Nadi, I did not take it personally, do not worry, and I never denied I really like his looks - just wrote it above. I do agree seeing so many people drooling over him can be annoying,so I won't start prasing him again, but I still like to think there is more to him than his pure exterior beauty - Lopez, for example, really looks like Adonis, but he'll never have Safin's harem.

Finally, we have very similar tennis tastes - I love watching Fed play, Nalbi's strokes are some of my favourite. Marat plays crap now, but I did like few of his matches of old - mentioning his 2000 US Open final and his 2005 AO SF is as annoying as mentioning his warm heart and brains, but they were good matches :)

I wasn't there for awhile because of work and I was two days ago in a soccer 's party in Italia. I think that WAG of "football's guys" are all fake. Big breast, mouth, skinny girls... Tennis WAG are more natural and friendly.

I was sure that Prima Donna was verdasco but by reading the interview I thought it was Marat but Rocket said that it is not him so I guess it could only be Haas. I look forward knowing who Pd is.

Concerning the talk about Marat, I can say that he is really handsome in person. he has beautiful and deep glance. Of course he likes parties and enjoy it but he is really different that people think. He seems really "shy" with strangers but completely "crazy" with his friends.

When I saw him with Elena Korikova, he wasn't tactile with her but some glances at her showed that he cared about her. I am not a "safinette" if you mean walking after him and waiting for an autographe or waiting in front of his hôtel. I have met some "crazy safinettes" and I don't see one of them her.

He has a special sense of humour, just read his interviews and famous quotes. He is not a goofy like Dmitry or a clown like Djokovic. I don't know what the time coversion would be for your area, but there are both day and night sessions. If your television coverage is similar, I believe there is a replay as well. Good luck, I hope you see it. :)

Sybil is the guy who has created many false names on this site to have conversations with himself in the comment sections. The false names are from different cities and countries, pretend to like different players, and are both male and female of all ages.
