Allez, in a way I feel kind of sorry for him too. he was written about as the hope of french tennis when he was very young, 9 I think, and he's been under that pressure forever. Maybe he's frustrated that he can't put all of his talent out there and win a big title.

Allez, I like Richard's tennis and I would like to see him win a really big event or two. I'm not really that much of a Safin fan. I was ready to be back when he beat Pete at the Open, but then he never seemed to really care about tennis and I got kind of tired of him moping about. I did meet him once, and he had to have been in a good mood because he said something funny and charming to me and went on his merry way, so that was nice. hey guys i was at the match last night and marat appeared to just tweak his neck a little. i actually remember watching him stretch it out a little bit really early into the match and turning to my friend and predicting that marat would retire if he lost the first set. loe and behold...
anyways i spoke to marat's coach after the match, and he said that it is just a little tweak and that he will be fine. once i found out all was well, i pointed to my shirt ( i was wearing my 20005 australian open shirt) and told him to remind marat that his fans still believe in him and love him. hernan promised me he'd tell him.
